The utility provides an X-Windows interface for inserting entries into a bibliography database in BibTeX format. Xbibtex provides a template listing the required and optional fields for each entry type. A further utility is provided to merge the content of ‘keyword’ and ‘annote’ entries into a .bbl file before final recompilation.
