HyperLaTeX defines a form of LaTeX that may be processed in the ordinary way with a 'latex' command, for printed output. However, HyperLaTeX documents may also be processed by 'hyperlatex', to produce good-quality HTML.

HyperLaTeX is not a LaTeX to HTML converter (see or for that). Rather, HyperLaTeX specifies a set of macros that allow you to support two output formats from one source, and to make both appear as good as possible.
